From $39 to $99 a year? No way!

Have enjoyed Stingray but at the new price I will not renew. For almost the same cost I can get Apple Musics recommendations and listen to complete albums, not songs, and without skip limits. It seems this company is actively trying to divest itself of individual subscribers. You are well on the way, bye-bye Stingray.

Excellent Music App

Streams seamlessly on my iPhone. Great selection. Blues and Classical much superior to SIRIUS. Highly recommended.

Such a good app. Use it all the time on the road and at work. Doesnt use too much data either

Not working

Not working keep on saying network error removed my wifi worked for me to sign up going through the next step and the pop network error came back again. Guess its not working for Canada

I tried to set this app up, but it kept getting hung up and never could sign in using cable subscription. Keeps giving me network error. Deleted app. Too bad because I like the one on my TV.

Works great ....so far!

Guess the other reviewers have bad luck... I downloaded the app and got it up and running on my iPad and iPhone in minutes!

Authenticated it with my TV and it seems to be running ok; very easy and fast.

Easy to set up! Just turn to a Stingray channel on your TV, turn up the volume a bit, & voila!

Terrible

Whole experience with the company is absolutely horrid and now trapped in a contract. You are better off youtubing playlists for your business or using SONOS.

Unexpectedly impressed

Thought Id give it a try as its free with my TV subscription - was really surprised at how close this comes to Spotify/etc with their "Vibe" functionality. You can pin artists or playlists. Things Id like to see implemented: - Option for higher quality audio for those with unlimited data - Possibility of downloading offline playlists - Create your own playlists Update 09/16: Finding the audio quality to be the biggest downfall of this app - Im big on sound quality and would love an option to stream in higher quality, even if it eats up more data!

Get this instead

Its an ok app but if your using it out of the house it uses your data instead get imusic its a free app and you can listen to music without wifi and all free good quality

Good music variety

Nice app. Nice variety. Wish there were even more categories! :) I agree with some of the reviews, I wish there were better options for higher quality sound! Makes the difference between staying with this music service or going to Spotify...

Difficult to use, but one we know how its work, this is very great

No ads and works simply

I signed up as an already cable subscriber. There are no ads which I really like. The interface is simple even if it could be organized better. Lots of channel selection. Nice to have a sleep timer but would prefer if the music faded out instead of stopping abruptly.

GOT TUNES

The Stingray Music app is so good. I can listen to it for hours on wifi. If you enjoy streamed music on your device youll love the Stingray Music app. Just get and youll love the free music. Very easy to customize. Youll just have to check that your provider is listed. Telus clients get it free.

Finally able to use cable music channels in other settings

I was happy to see that Stingray now offers this app. I can now listen to music that up till now I could only get via my cable tuner, adding value to my cable subscription. This app offers additional channels and genres that the cable version doesnt. The authentication procedure is pretty cool and unique. The Stingray app works well and sounds very good! I understand the music streams at AAC-LC 96kbps. Still a ways to go when looking at other services such as Apple Music and Spotify. Bring on the Apple tvOS version!

Dont update app if using IPhone 5S

New update has kicked me out and is unusable. I use an IPhone 5S and now I cant access Stingray Music as it keeps saying my account is not working and to contact my cable provider. My account is paid up and Shaw says the issue isnt on their end - so its Stringrays issue, due to the new update. Love the app usually and use it everyday - until today. Please fix immediately! Thanks!
